Anatomy of Statue of Liberty

This is an HD image of the bottom portion of Statue of Liberty. Interestingly its made of sheet metal and if you enlarge the view on this pic you can see the way they have been joined together to give a very neat "clothy" texture.
Another factotum - The colour is due to chemical reaction (weathering) of the copper base which was originally reddish. It took 30 yrs for the lady to turn green.

You got to start somewhere

I have been pondering on starting a blog for a long long time. Its just the feeling that - setting up the commitment and motivation for one more place to attend to, on the internet which has been holding me back.

Let me list down the various internet areas I have to attend, regularly.
Gmail
Yahoo Mail
Orkut
Linkedin
Esnips
Facebook (?)
Google Maps - Yes I am map freak.
& Now Blogspot

So hopefully I will be doing some justice.

Let me be frank. I will be copy pasting a lot and hyperlinking a lot more.
